1. SKATEBOARD DECK:

Usually made of 7 layers of maple wood, balancing elasticity and strength. The surface is covered with sandpaper to increase foot friction and prevent slipping.

 

2. Trucks:

A metal component that connects the board surface and wheels, serving as the "skeleton" of the skateboard. The looseness determines the flexibility of the skateboard's steering: the looser it is, the more flexible it is, and the tighter it is, the more stable it is. The width of the bracket should match the width of the board to ensure stability.

 

3. Wheels:

It mainly depends on the diameter and hardness.

·Diameter: Large wheels (such as 60mm or more) have good passability and endurance, suitable for rough road surfaces; Small wheels (around 50mm) are flexible and suitable for skillful movements.

·Hardness: represented by "A", the larger the number, the harder it is. Hard wheels (above 97A) are suitable for performing skillful movements on smooth surfaces; Soft wheels (below 97A) have good shock absorption and strong grip, suitable for brushing and rough road surfaces.

 

4. Bearing: Installed inside the wheel, it directly affects the smoothness and speed of sliding. Its accuracy level is represented by ABEC ratings (such as ABEC-3, 5, 7, etc.), with higher numbers usually indicating higher accuracy and speed limits.

 

5. Bridge nails and washers: Bridge nails are used to fix the bracket on the board surface; The gasket is placed between the bracket and the board surface to provide cushioning and protection.
